Responsible for Hardening U.S. Systems to EMP

The Threat of an Electromagnetic Pulse

             Speaking on:

“Countering the Very Real EMP Threat”

The Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP), from a single nuclear burst, could damage key critical infrastructure, such as the U.S. electric power grid – leaving us powerless and freezing America’s “just in time” economy, with the American population lacking the means for survival for a decade+ potentially. Sixty to ninety percent of all Americans could perish within the following 9-12 months. A hardening of our Electric Grid throughout the U.S. would protect against the EMP effects of a nuclear blast – or a major solar storm, which could lead to similar effects.

Dr. Cooper is a Clemson engineering graduate with a NYU PhD; Chairman of High Frontier; ARA Chairman Emeritus; formerly National Institute for National Policy Senior Associate; Heritage Foundation Visiting Fellow; was the Acquisition Executive for all U.S. missile defense systems, and served in several other senior Federal Government acquisition and policy positions. At High Frontier, Amb. Hank Cooper is focused on working with local, state and federal authorities to provide effective defenses against ballistic missiles, particularly those that pose an existential threat to all Americans by detonating a nuclear weapon high above the U.S.
